In 2018, we set out to deliver entrepreneurship courses to high school students in a conflict zone. Internet and laptop access was scarce. Almost everyone had a phone, so we built the entire course as text messages.

That workaround became a new way to reach people conventional systems left behind: students without laptops, frontline teams without desks, and employees without a spare hour for a portal. Over the next seven years, Arist delivered millions of courses to students, frontline employees, and managers inside the world’s largest organizations.

We learned that access was only the beginning. To help people excel, talent teams also need to understand what is getting in the way. The people doing the work often know where knowledge, skill, confidence, and process break down—but traditional tools cannot hear all of them or connect their experience to the wider business.

AI made that possible. Today, Arist’s agents interview employees at scale, combine their insight with enterprise data, recommend the right response, coordinate delivery, and measure the result.

The mission has stayed the same since the first text message: make meaningful development available to everyone.

As part of that commitment, Arist partners with nonprofits and social-good organizations to deliver learning at scale at a free or discounted rate, depending on need.
